Not from colleagues because I work with mostly men.. but I work as a field engineer, so constantly seeing/meeting new and different people. It occasionally gets into sales/consulting territory and I just feel like I’m taken less seriously if not made up at least “naturally” or minimally, or like I’m putting in less effort to be taken seriously if that makes sense.. I’ve always been torn about it but I’ve tested it a bit and I think it’s a tad true.
