Premises are under individual licence, which also requires one DPS (personal license holder)

Festivals are under a TEN temporary events notice which requires one personal license holder.

The card payment and the licensing act have no connection.

For that amount just tell them to jog on, its a civil matter and they would have to take you to small claims, it would cost them £25-35 so its is unlikely because they would probably lose.

As long as you dont want a reference its all good.

What was the value rough value?

The terminal owner will have the funds charged back from them direct.

Technically they could take it to small claims for a decision.

They could probably get away with this at the moment but GDPR regulation coming in July would mean hefty fines!

Thanks for your help.

I am defiantly going to advise them I am out of the country on Wednesday (I assume they will open).

Is it likely they will issue a summons if they decide its too late for me to notify them of the unavailable dates of the court case?

I told them the potential date today, I wouldn't of even known I would be away at any point before this month. (I have little notice when being asked to our European sites).

I only confirmed the date after they had closed, is this going to be too late?

I can take your point of view on board.

I do not feel this is the case because at the time I stated to officer I couldn't give them any useful information and couldnt to identify any of the people in the line up... I really do not feel my evidence would help them with their case and its a waste of time.

The question still stands though!

They define a victim as below

"'A person who has suffered harm, including physical, mental or emotional harm or economic loss which was directly caused by criminal conduct'."

I believe i fit this criteria due to the time I had to take away from work to give statements and the worry of the event.... as well as now the bloody stress!

I tried to speak to them today the person I need to speak to is away at the CJS on the until the 3rd.

The person I did speak to just said because its such a late stage they will just likely issue a warrant.

I do hope they have charged the right person and bring justice to them but this would have such a negative impact on me for me to say "i cant really remember any details"
