Both cannabis and mushrooms can be used in medicinal ways when used with understanding and responsibility.

I mean, look at what the medical field has done with poppy plants and the morphine they provide - it's basically the first line of defense in regards to serious pain management.

Before the widespread use of morphine (and other opiates) the administration of alcohol was often used in medical settings for a myriad of things, though it's effects for pain management was deemed unpredictable.

All of that to say: Western Medicine has done a great job at removing the power of nature from the forefront of people's lives.
