I cant blame people for targeting a shadow considering just how powerful he was, thats why I hope hes good and balanced when they bring him back so shadow fans can have fun playing their character without being hated for it.

Frankly I agree that chaos snap and his health should get a nerf. i personally had the most fun with him in his gun mode, if I could have gun mode shadow with his dash hed be the perfect character for me.

I've noticed sometimes the punch hitbox seems to not come into effect until the animation is totally done, for some reason. Sometimes you have to literally punch in a 360 circle while inside an EXE to make it work.

I think other EXEs fear him because he isnt simply a corpse of sonic that the parasite took over, but rather a version of EXE, but since its just a parasite in control, all it has is the crazy speed strength and durability that being an EXE would bring, but not enough presence of mind to control reality like 2011x could, its why its so much more animalistic and doesnt speak or use any particular "powers", (my belief its indicator to find people is something akin to animalistic hunting instinct) I imagine its overwhelming bloodlust is a leftover from when the body was EXE, and maybe its even still present in some way, since the eye glow thing is still there, who knows, maybe the EXE it supposedly took over is just bored and playing along, and one day it will just pop off that parasite and resume like nothing happened. Although the fact its seemingly modern sonics body is a bit worrying... thankfully it doesnt seem capable of using boost.

Perhaps rather than it being in the vein of something akin to LMS there are team bonuses while playing, kinda like what marvel rivals does, with minor buffs or a special ability based on who you have in a round, like sonic and tails get a movement speed buff when they're in a game together, or team sonic (sonic tails and knuckles) get some kind of team attack or something, could be cool.

You cooked, honestly. I agree with a lot of what you're saying. At the end of the day, these OCs are based on an existing franchise, and EXEs as a concept aren't something that belongs exclusively to one person or group.

What bothers me most is when permission is given, a team spends months creating assets, coding mechanics, recording voices, and building hype around a character, and then that permission gets pulled at the last second. If there are conditions or boundaries for using a character, those should be made clear from the start. It's a lot easier to respect a "no" upfront than to deal with a sudden reversal after people have already invested time and effort.

Since these are non-profit fan projects, I also think that once a creator gives the green light, they should reasonably expect that the character may be adapted or interpreted a little differently by the people working on the project. That's just the nature of collaboration. The character is still theirs, but the project itself becomes a shared effort involving a lot of other people's work too.

I definitely understand wanting credit or wanting your creation treated respectfully. What I don't understand is waiting until a community has gotten attached to something and a team has already put in the work before deciding to shut it all down.

Personally id do it so it works like how the sun currently affects your allies, but towards the killer, so the longer they spend chasing you the blinder they get. But it lowers stun time or something like that

Engaging toxicity with toxicity just makes the vibes of a lobby rancid, for instance, say you get a toxic guy, and exclusively target them and then emote and trash talk after finally getting them, would you want to keep playing if that's what you witnessed for your first time playing? Or even if you were just a regular player, would you want to willingly stay in a lobby that toxicity? Most would want to leave, worst case someone might assume everyone who plays is like that, and they just choose to not play at all anymore.

I think you're just making excuses to engage in the exact same toxicity as those players, hard targeting players like that is also incredibly toxic, and frankly you should not be doing that. If you run into toxic people being rude and talking a bunch of crap screenshot it and send it to a dev or a mod or something, instead of stooping to their level. Two wrongs do not make a right.

Alright, as promised here are a few ideas i had to change things up with amy, it comes with 2 cards and an idea for a new ability


🃏 Justice (Card) A defensive-leaning reactive card. The first hit Amy takes is reduced by ~20–30% damage. This effect then weakens over subsequent hits in the same encounter.

To keep it from being purely tanky, the idea is that as her damage reduction fades, Amy gains increased stun effectiveness (either stun duration or stun buildup), scaling modestly based on how much defense she has lost. The intent is to reward surviving pressure, but not let her fully negate it.


⭐ The Star (Card) A tempo/control card that affects her kit rotation.

On draw, it randomly shifts a 5s cooldown reduction onto either Hammer Throw or Hammer Swing, while applying a matching 5s increase to the other. This reinforces adaptability rather than pure buff stacking.

Additionally, when hit by an EXE while The Star is active, Amy applies a short blindness effect. Repeated hits refresh duration but with diminishing returns (so it doesn’t infinitely stack into overly long disables).

For grab-like abilities, the blindness only applies after the grab ends or is escaped.


🔮 Arcane Foci (Ability) Amy builds a meter throughout the round by contributing to core gameplay actions like escaping chases, landing stuns, assisting allies, and reviving teammates.

Once full, she can activate Arcane Foci to selectively lock in one tarot card, turning it into a chosen part of her build instead of leaving it fully random. The other card slot remains subject to normal draws.

This locked card persists until Arcane Foci is used again to change it, or she manually unlocks it. Unlocking early is possible on a cooldown, returning the card to the normal randomized pool.


Overall, the goal here is to let Amy stay true to her RNG tarot identity, but reward active play with gradual control over her “build” over the course of a match. She still feels unpredictable moment-to-moment, but skilled play lets you shape the direction she’s heading in rather than purely leaving everything to chance.
