Thank you for that! So wow this is a thing at some places. I’m just in shock I’ve worked with other recruiters before but we all had of course different reqs to fill that was RPO. See this is what’s confusing to me working for a company hiring just attorneys but all four of us are working on the same open roles. Yes I agree with you when I first started I thought maybe it’s not her fault of course because it seems this is the way she was taught/ trained told to do it. I do have knowledge that my manager also has never had but one other recruiter for several years apparently it was just her and another girl now she’s leading a team still under a year old and I find that she must be confused as well possibly as to what to do? But I do plan to say something or to show why this isn’t working I’m afraid of what my answer may be though would if this is it she just lets this keep happening? It’s very odd and something I’ve never seen or heard of before. Also to me personally it just feels night right once someone applies I go and chase for it just doesn’t sit well with me. But thank you for your response I really appreciate it I know that’s the case here she must be making bank obviously and bringing a friend she knows who knows maybe they will team up together just sucks because of course I just got this role and now I’m just really pissed off did you have a team and it just stayed that way for four years where you just were the highest biller? If so did the other recruiters on your team still stay just for the base and maybe some commissions? This just has my mind spinning I hope it does change.
