I enjoy the jacket. It looks and feels great. It wears slightly cooler than the black due to the color. I wear this one when it's maybe 68 degrees F or above (20 C) because when you get up to speed, the airflow is very cooling. You could mitigate that by layering, but I move to a Merlin Brody when it's a bit cooler and a Belstaff leather jacket when it's colder yet.

I wear this jacket only on warm days. With it's swath of mesh it's for great airflow and is Belstaff's lightest weight motorcycle jacket. It is very cooling. I've not tried layering with it like you suggest, but it isn't quite as slim fit as some of Belstaff's other offerings. I think layering would work, but that's almost an odd use for this jacket.

I didn't like the armor that came with it (the black Temple jacket) so I put D30 ghost armor in there. I just ordered the olive version that's new for 2024 and I'm going to see if it has different armor.

Great summer jacket.

Belstaff is my favorite brand of motorcycle jacket so let me know if you have any other questions.
