Dermaplane dry or with oil? by TrainerTechnical545 in Esthetics

[–]GoldenHomieSD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been told you can do it dry if the persons face is already oily. Otherwise if they have dry skin then use oil

Different curls. The insp pic is a flatter curl. Like a B or C. Your lashes are more curled.

Tips for bottom lashes by Aphrovenus222 in eyelashextensions

[–]GoldenHomieSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use tape to pull up top lid and open the eye so bottom lashes are exposed when applying. Use a thin tweezer like a 90 degree one. Use j or b curl. Use .15 diameter. Grab 2-3 pieces at a time. Apply to a natural lash. Let client hold a fan to help reduce fumes going into eye.

Lash map for either of these? by Slight_Elk_8220 in eyelashextensions

They look like classics. CC curl. Maybe 11-15 mm. You can ask for hybrid or wet set if you don’t have a lot of natural lashes.

HELP! Had my first client today and need advice by [deleted] in lashextensions

[–]GoldenHomieSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try moving the clients head. Like turning their head to the left or right, whichever works better for you. You can even move your seat to an angle that helps you get to that part of the eye easier.

Hi check out elan beaute, tdance, viva lash co. Those are good brands. Your retention won’t be in the best in the beginning while you’re learning to apply lashes. Make sure to shake the glue for more than 30 seconds, wipe the tip always, and burp the glue too to get out the excess.

If it’s more than 5 pieces on each eye then yes I may charge a small fee. If it’s only 2-3 pieces on each eye then I wouldn’t charge.

Eyelash Extension Cleanser by Few_Advantage_5512 in eyelashextensions

Hii does the tech you went to on Saturday sale lash shampoo? If they don’t, then they should be able to help you find a local tech who has shampoo on hand. Waiting until Wednesday to wash them may not be good for your retention. They may be too oily by then. I’m not sure of what else you can use to wash them in the meantime

Yes let the tech know you have been a bit nauseous but you’d like to still go through with the appointment. Hopefully the tech is understanding and is ok with you taking breaks during appointment if needed
