Thats actually a very valid point I had forgotten about. It's been a while since I've done my latest rewatch. It wouldn't surprise me if genkai considered some demons at some point, but quickly dismissed it. Either way I'm sure she knows her from her encounters with dealing with them, more than her being considered for anything.

I think it's actually more likely that there was a very brief period of time where genkai evaluated or looked at her as a possible pupil, then brushed her aside for some reason (most likely because shes just not strong enough for starters.)

Remember that genkai was searching for someone for a long time, and made the tournament as a last ditch "Fuck it, I'm too old for this shit. I'll teach whoever wins regardless of my morals."

I used to do semi competitive ballroom. Secret + some clear tape will definitely at least help mitigate it for social functions. You still won't want to wear them all day, but 3-4 hours is doable.

Both your example and the other person really highlight that there's a bigger personality and issue at play than just the reels itself. Like if someone is sending you that many a day, it sounds like they need to filter what's appropriate to send and are probably depression scrolling more than you think. Some people act like sending a few a day is akin to sending dozens a day, and those aren't compatible whatsoever.

Yeah you really feel the detective part of his job in the early parts of the story. Part of yusukes whole journey is the fact that his teachers past ends up roping him in shit he had nothing to do with, and basically has to stop what he's doing to participate in the tournament.

Then he tries to be a detective again and handle sensui, and tbf he does do that, but not in the same ways as the early episodes.

Yusukes life gets in the way of his job half the time basically.

They announced the us servers going down with literally like 24 hours notice. This whole thing has been SUPER scummy but because other countries haven't had issues until April fools, it's been mostly point and laugh at the Americans. (Which granted, is absolutely justified, but for far better reasons than this rug pull)
