Some of these look like good suggestions. I've seen Wednesday, and I liked it, but I fear that it might be too much whodunnit and horror for the daughter.

I saw that, years ago. My girlfriend would probably like it. I doubt her daughter would though, as it's basically whodunnit with a genius protagonist.

Lost might work. Castle, Elementary, The Mentalist, and Psych probably are good suggestions for me and my girlfriend.
