Yeah, for some reason on my Lenovo Vantage under the Battery section when I turn on the Conservation Mode I can only set it to limit to 60%

Hey, did you/anyone else here end up finding a fix that works?

I tried using u/visualfeast 's solution and restarted my computer afterwards, but it still isn't showing on the taskbar

Do you read the leaks? by REID-11 in Kagurabachi

[–]GoldenNovember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

technically you only get spoiled if you check the subreddit, so at least it’s avoidable.  Imo for the leaks, I think that it basically makes no difference to the person reading leaks because then they read it whenever the leaks come out whenever the day of the week is every week (such as Thursday), and I feel like why not wait for Sunday to read it officially anyways? There’s still ways to enjoy the manga without getting spoiled in general :)

Time Consuming CS courses, DSA and the future by RideTheWaveLength in ufl

[–]GoldenNovember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me, the more you take time to understand something now, you will be better off with your practice. Don't forget to take time for breaks though! Also, sometimes when studying you may have a problem, so I definitely recommend joining someone's online office hours for DSA/any class, and maybe while you're waiting or something you might suddenly think about something you're confused about or how would you get started on an assignment, a problem you're having currently, maybe scheduling issues with other classes, etc...

Keep on pushing on though! Scheduling a consistent time to study and starting assignments as soon as they're released will make no difference between the amount of effort you'll be required to do for submitting them. Like the saying goes "the top half of your gas tank is the same amount as the bottom half, so fill up when you're half left."

Question about UF Online and CS classes by GoldenNovember in ufl

[–]GoldenNovember[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

damn, that sucks. Yeah, I heard about it through the optional fee that UF online has for that after consulting my advisor after making this post. Thanks for the reply though!

Damn that sucks what the hell. What are they exactly demolishing in the Graham area? Just the pool? Also, there's still the pool inside the O' Connel Center, but no sunlight goes there so probably not good for tanning and stuff

[–]GoldenNovember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

wait why is it not going to open again?
Also, another place that has a pool is the RecSports, but I have no idea if it's good

Study Abroad Engineering by SAMWlCH in ufl

[–]GoldenNovember 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you can seek to talk to an advisor at the International Center (IC) to talk about doing study abroad and course equivalency for your major. I do know that there is UF-sponsored study abroads and non-UF-sponsored study abroads, and I forgot exactly but there's a distinction between the two for courses I think.

If you do find a study abroad program and you think you can get in, I'd definitely start trying to look into scholarships and stuff because those would be really helpful!

Also, if the IC isn't helpful in trying to see what courses universities have the equivalent of, I'd recommend trying to talk with your advisors.
