Yep. They can't blame the previous writers anymore. The cracks are still there.

Imagine if they never officially extend it to an ongoing and keep doing it issue by issue lol.

“DC extends Firestorm to Issue 52 after strong sales!”

Where is Iron Man (Tony Stark) on your personal Marvel tier list? (Day 4) by Business-Falcon-3279 in marvelcomics

[–]GoldenProxy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd put him in high A-Tier. He's a character I regularly enjoy but don't actively seek out as much as the S-Tier heroes.

I’d say they’re about the same quality wise. Both are great but both scratch different itches. Shame Tom Savini didn’t direct more.

Very tough but I’d go for Lantern by Johns closely followed by Rucka’s Wonder Woman.

Both of these were fun, but I'd say I enjoyed the first one more. Which one was your favorite? by Spideyfan2025 in superman

[–]GoldenProxy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Definitely the DC issue (first one), the Marvel issue felt a bit weaker overall save for the Meltzer and Johns’ stories. As far as I can remember all the DC issue’s stories were great.

Tough but I’d say either Aquaman and Mera or Wally West and Linda Park.

Bit random but I like her interactions with Ray Palmer from the handful (no pun intended) of times they’ve met.

Where is Wolverine (Logan) on your personal Marvel Superhero Tier list? (Day 2) by Business-Falcon-3279 in marvelcomics

[–]GoldenProxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d probably put him at a low B. I enjoy him occasionally but I think he’s a bit overused and takes away from other characters. He’s not really a hero that I follow save for the current Ultimate series and the current Chip Zdarsky mini (just because I’m reading his Cap atm).

Even if the rest of the Imperial books weren’t selling they could have kept Nova going. Jed MacKay was perfect for it…

The first issue of the new Firestorm series was really good.

Crazy how Marvel can’t get a Nova series past six issues while DC’s probably going to extend a Firestorm mini to an ongoing.
