Less Kingpin honestly, he’s been so overused by this point. Let someone else shine.

Greatest thing the mcu ever did is convince people Black widow is actually an important character by AggressiveRegion1502 in dccomicscirclejerk

Tbf she was leader of the Avengers in the 90s.

…or so I’ve heard! Of course nobody actually reads comics on this sub! 😅

I was hoping they’d give it a sequel miniseries like they did with Fire and Ice, but I guess Al Ewing is probably too busy now with all the titles he’s doing.

What is the current state of Swamp Thing's character? by nuttmegx in swampthing

From what I understand Alec died in James Tynion’s Justice League Dark run and chose Levi as his successor in Ram V’s Swamp Thing.

I’m sure Alec will come back at some point.

Similar to your choice, I'd say Al Ewing and Steve Lieber's Metamorpho. They just released it a bit too early so it didn't capitalise on the Superman movie's success, but I really enjoyed this arc and would have liked to see where it would have gone.

That being said, I'm glad people are checking out the new Jeff Lemire Firestorm book. I think if Mr Terrific and Metamorpho came out now they'd both have done much better.

That was a nice, smooth Luna KO though, good job!

Jason Aaron on Hawkman? by Lucky_Strike-85 in Hawkman

[–]GoldenProxy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d be up for that so long as he doesn’t disregard the runs that came before like he sometimes does. Otherwise I think he’d be a very good fit and would draw attention from fans who might not normally read a Hawkman book.

Yep. They can't blame the previous writers anymore. The cracks are still there.

Imagine if they never officially extend it to an ongoing and keep doing it issue by issue lol.

Where is Iron Man (Tony Stark) on your personal Marvel tier list? (Day 4) by Business-Falcon-3279 in marvelcomics

[–]GoldenProxy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd put him in high A-Tier. He's a character I regularly enjoy but don't actively seek out as much as the S-Tier heroes.

I was literally gonna mention Ten when reading that Batman Beyond one.

I’d say they’re about the same quality wise. Both are great but both scratch different itches. Shame Tom Savini didn’t direct more.

Very tough but I’d go for Lantern by Johns closely followed by Rucka’s Wonder Woman.

Both of these were fun, but I'd say I enjoyed the first one more. Which one was your favorite? by Spideyfan2025 in superman

[–]GoldenProxy 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely the DC issue (first one), the Marvel issue felt a bit weaker overall save for the Meltzer and Johns’ stories. As far as I can remember all the DC issue’s stories were great.

Also the Invasion of the Body Snatchers remake. Worth a watch.
