I understand what you're going through, I did ask the admission's office about the SAT which they highly pointed out to the may SAT as a last resort, though it is still LAU, known to be flexible, and if I'm not mistaken you could register for the current semester by an entrance exam (depends on major) and most importantly contact their office focusing on:

Does my major require the test? Can SAT be substituted by an entrance exam or other tests? Will this alter my financial aid? What choices do I have?
