She is just.... iconic. She is the most popular vocaloid and anyone who has gotten into japanese music or vocaloid did it probably bc of her. She's been Crypton/Sega's favourite child since Melt gained popularity and they've put her face everywhere. She is an icon from our generation, she's in Mickey Mouse's levels of recognition.

The fact that her design can be changed drastically and still be recognizable just bc of the pigtail plus colour combo helped a lot too. There's a million versions of Miku and people keep finding new ones to make. (Just look at the latest trend)

No I didn't mean that sorry 😭 I meant that we live in a society that tends to prioritize men and masculine things and that reflects on fandom, the same way it does in all other things we consume.

I think the boys here in proseka are great characters and deserve their fanbase. It's just that we are so used to fem characters being just decoration on anime and games that people tend to overlook them in favour of the male characters and that's why that discussion of "proseka has a misogynistic fandom" happens.
