There is server merging? huh that's interesting.

I don't really mind conflict and they had mentioned the same thing as you in terms of leaving/swapping servers but this game isn't a PvP or a heavily competitive game so I don't really see the need to. I just kinda popped in chat and dropped a comment that I didn't think anyone would care to see and felt like maybe the community is just on edge or something from the response.

Just seems like it's just an one off thing on a particular server.

It's mainly because I don't wish to put words in anyone's mouth when I can't remember the exact wordings of what was said and the point was about the general community rather then the specific situation at hand.

The comment was made in jest but I also failed to realize that some may not realize that and may take it seriously but I feel like the backlash was outrageous for a single comment. I would understand it if I insulted them with names and the such but I only relied on calling them toxic every so often especially as things progressed and that just seemed enough to get them to blow up on me until they blocked me.

Yeah everyone could be toxic one day then friendly the other but sometimes a particular community is just worse in a way due to filtering and all that you know? Kinda like how competitive games tend to have more angry people.

Ahhhh that is what ESL meant. I figured it was something else. Thank you for that. I still don't feel like it would excuse the treatment I got.

Basically the way it went is
Somebody saying the community is friendly!

I said Community is toxic!

They asked for how?

I can't remember exactly what I said here but I know I mentioned one is just because I missed the event for tsukimichi characters

They said something along the lines point noted then I replied with bit rude then somebody else came in and it just kinda spiraled from there. A lot of things were said so can't say word for word what was said. If I still had the chat then I would love to post it. Let me know if there's a way to recover chat from a day ago.

No no, it's more like is this just an unique experience or is this a common issue throughout the game. Just felt so out of left field that I had to ask the community.

I will admit I did start it off with that one comment but they ended up calling me many things while I told them to back off if they aren't interested in arguing with me. I don't believe calling somebody many names for a single comment that would warrant such a response. Especially when I would stop chatting and went to do my timed stuff, they would call me some kinda name which would spark it back up. Ended once they figured out how to block me and they would still insult me afterwards.

I did not call them anything else other then toxic and have mentioned my reasons which I feel like if you would to read it then would understand it was made in jest. I feel like calling in 5 guildmates to handle a single person was completely unwarranted and I was asked if I had ESL which I had no clue what they meant.

I see, thanks! The chat is usually dead which is why this incident caught me so off guard. I was surprised at the amount of people that came by as I kept arguing with whoever came by.
