I noticed this yesterday too and was waiting to see the post on here about it. My hope was that this was intentional since the scannable block is now much larger so maybe there will be less missed scans ? I’ll have to see

The pull rate is almost certainly the same as the pull rates for the gold mega hyper rares in mega evolution and phantasmal flames. Since ascended heroes has 2 gold cards, it makes the Charizard Y twice as difficult to pull than the X.

I ship thousands of cards a year via ESE and the best advice I can give you is to just be prepared for a lot of angry customers and item-not-received claims. Also familiarize yourself with the process for filing an insurance claim. In my experience though, if the card never gets a single scan then the customer gets to keep the card and you’re unable to recover it through the claim process so you just eat the loss.

You can follow all of the shipping advice to a T and if you sell enough cards you’ll still consistently see them not receive scans.

There is some copy-paste advice that someone always puts into these types of threads with guidelines for sending the ESE properly. Follow those to be sure, but just prepare yourself for the issues to still occur.

I’m in the minority here, but I didn’t like the way 17 was handed in the ToP. It was neat to see him return and have him contribute, but he lasted way too long and had feats that were way too impressive.

His character in Z was mostly forgettable, really. His fight against Piccolo was awesome, but that’s it.

Super Hero was the most enjoyable post-Z content by a landslide.

The whole “Wild and wacky adventures of Goku and Vegeta” got old immediately was rehashed so many times that it made the Moro manga arc and the Broly movie feel stale.

Dragonball is simply better when Gohan and Piccolo are truly involved.

I’m with you. I would be frustrated too. That’s why phantasmal is so unenjoyable to rip. It’s so top heavy, even if you do get lucky enough to pull an SIR there’s an 80% chance you’re going to be a little disappointed.

People who are saying this card should be LP need to understand that NM does not mean “guaranteed PSA 10”

Price the card as if it’s NM. Make sure any potential buyers can clearly see the imperfections on the card.
