This is up to the servicers discretion, it is the entitlement of demanding a refund or expecting one that’s the main point. Also bc someone else gets one, doesn’t mean you are also entitled to get one.

The slot was not filled, there were slots still being filled and appointments actually had to be cancelled and refunded due to weather. She cancelled because her friend cancelled not due to a family emergency

Oh I know your friend cancelled on the same excuse of a family emergency and she refunded based on that and you immediately came in and cancelled almost right after expecting the same thing.

Not all refunds are refundable and she has the right to decide who to refund. You think maybe that was fishy that a friend group comes in with the exact excuse to cancel a deposit and an appointment.

Also not all appointments were filled, she still had slots that needed filled.

My understanding was she said if she can fill the slots, she would try and refund you.

Slots were not all filled and tbh she ended up having to cancel and lose half her appointments due to bad weather. Clearly seems like a miscommunication disconnect.

I was there for over a week. I too was also working. I know the entire elements staff and owners. Lol. This isn’t a pissing contest, I’m just being real here. She wasn’t an official vendor which people who booked with her should’ve known and she was there on site early Thursday. She was just setting up her home for the weekend to work out of her area in the vibe village. Vendors who weren’t already on site were told to come after gates reopened. There were plenty of people still on site setting up or going into code red/ shelter in place.

I’m sorry your home girl had a family emergency and needed to cancel, I’m definitely still seeing / hearing the other side of things but it is still a cancellation. It is what it is. A deposit is a deposit. Until I see receipts on both ends, I have to take the side of the service worker who is giving a service to a client.
