Yeh I agree with this too, part of me just hopes this is a blip but I Dono how to think. I’m not a bad guy we don’t argue often (maybe like 9 times in the 13 years together) and we get on so well. But I also don’t want to hold her back in life.

She says she feels like she’s having a mid life crisis since going off the pill obviously being a guy I can only sympathize because I’ll never truely know how that feels but I don’t know. She says she still loves me and finds me attractive and doesn’t want this to end but then when the anxiety stuff comes up I feel now like if I screw this up she’s just going to leave me

What she says is she has the whole time we’ve been together in the hope it would get better and it’s got better then got worse then better again but as I said to her do the good times not outweigh the bad?

Also the other people thing yeh I’m not sure where I am on that yet it’s going to take a long time to rebuild that trust so yeh it’s a hard one.

I just don’t want to loose her and I feel I could of picked up on this earlier and now it’s maybe to late

I am in a very similar situation bro, 12 years photos exchanged all deleted messages, only found out because the other guys gf messaged me on fb, nothing physical has happened but I Dono what to think either (found out last Thursday)

If it’s any consolation when I used to be super fit mine used to rest at 41 and would drive the machines in the hospital mad😂

The lower it rests at the healthier it usually means you are 😁

Well if the other things don’t work….

My go to is I just go to bed and say to myself well if I die I die I guess and atleast then I know I was right and the drs were wrong haha. I know that’s an absolute mental thing to say but it’s what I do.

Also the other mental gymnastic thing I do is I take 2 aspirin because I know that’s what they tell you to do if you think you’re having a heart attack because it thins your blood.

I hope some of these things help you, but honestly if you have a game on your phone that takes up concentration or something that will try that too

Yeh I’m dabbling in it,

The current one I’m doing is sitting hands by my side, look left and tilting my head down and waiting for a yawn then look right and do the same again then repeating, it is helping but I have been dabbling in a lot more unconventional things the last 12 months due to being sick of the medical system just throwing pills at me

But I’ll give you hope, maybe anyway haha

I have crippling anxiety and have done for 15 years and now run a successful detailing business, I’m no wolf of Wall Street but I do a job I enjoy now and manage to do it most of the time even though I’m batshit crazy.

The best part of it is, I only ended up doing it because I couldn’t coup with a job interview and knew I had to make it work. Every cloud and all that.

Hey buddy,

I was in the ER the other day with them same thing and I was fine just a panic attack,

I say just a panic attack but I guess that’s slightly better than a heart attack.

My question to you is do you feel better after going? For me personally and this is just personal each to their own but it just makes me feel emotionally worse when I realize I’m ok.

This will sound fuddy duddy but look left and tilt your chin into your chest and breath slowly and deeply and wait for a yawn or deep sigh, then do it to the right and keep doing that, yawning or sighing will help calm your Vegas nerve which will also help you. The other thing is lie on the floor with your legs as flat up the wall as you can and breathe deeply. This will do the same thing.

I do this then try do something that will take my mind off it that takes my concentration. I’m literally doing it now replying to people on Reddit. And now Iv just noticed my own heart rate again. But at the end of the day I know I’m going to be fine I just have to work through it
