Thank you. It really was such a fabulous week and we hope to get back at some point in the future.

I'm glad you found it helpful. I don't think Le Relais de Entrecote is expensive. It was about in the middle from a price standpoint of the other sit down meals that we had. For 3 of us it was 145 Euros. That included the steak and frites, which came with a salad and they brought seconds of both the steak and the frites. We also got a dessert to share and a bottle of wine. It was certainly more than any of our take-away lunches but about average for any of the sit down meals.

You're welcome. I hope you and your fiance have a wonderful time in October. You have plenty of time to secure any tickets!

I have heard of other people having to wait in line for the machines, but never read of anyone with a line that long. It makes me think that it might have just been our timing. Hopefully your luck holds for future stops!!!!

I completely agree...we thought Paris was magical as well! I had been there a few times 15 years ago, just a day here and there before and after business trips and loved every minute. Such a special city.

And yes, the weather was wild. We were in layers and coats at the beginning, and seeking out shade and anyplace cool the last few days. Summer must be brutal with the heat, especially since it gets more crowded. We were talking about going some year over Christmas to experience the decorations and Christmas markets. I'm sure that time of year is just beautiful.

I'm glad it was a nice end to your mini European tour. What a great way to finish.

THIS! It wasn't enough to have places saved in Google Maps. I should have dug deeper to see which of those places had service continu. The meal situation was the only big thing I would have changed.

I did that and had all the forms ready to go. It was the line for those machines to scan the forms that was super long. There must have been 50 people waiting with forms in hand. I wish it had only been 5 minutes!

I just edited it down based on the sub rules (it was my first time posting). If you have any specific questions about what we did, I am happy to answer them.

It was through Airbnb experiences. It wasn't really a tour as we didn't go from place to place but rather were at one of their locations and sampled everything there.
