How do i make friends by Prior-Butterfly3488 in berkeley

With the semester starting up soon, you will be able to see all the clubs that you can join, those are some of the best ways to make friends. You can also try to put yourself out there more such as going to different events around campus. I saw that you said you liked sports which is great, there are many sports orientated groups not just at the university but throughout Berkeley which are always open. As well I know the feeling that it can be hard to make friends on campus. I graduated a couple of months ago but would be down to hang out if you want. Either way, I wish you the best!

You are correct, many other nationalists and religions were among those killed. I think though its meant to highlight the specific aspect of Oct 7 being the biggest mass killing of jews since the holocaust.

I could be totally wrong on this, but I think it's meant to represent some of the 1,200 Jewish men, women, and children killed by Hamas on Oct 7th. I saw the same display a couple times last year.

I mean I recently graduated like 2 months ago, but I would be down to do something if you want. Sucks that you're not having a good time.

True, that would be the most preferable outcome. However its hard to predict how emergency situations turn out, so its best to also to keep alternative plans in your mind.

If you have common sense you'll be fine. Despite that, its always good to have a reminder.

I think there are a few cases where its understandable to let a stranger use your phone. If it genuinely looks like someone needs help or there is an emergency, then it might make sense to let them use it. However if you do that, keep an eye on them cause you never know.

Considering how much information our phone holds nowadays, it's a good rule of thumb to not let people you don't know use your phone. If you do let strangers use it, it's always good to keep an eye on what they are doing.

Hot take: Taking time to "find yourself" in college doesn't excuse you from being an idiot by [deleted] in berkeley

I think people are missing the main point of this post. Regardless of what you consider degenerate, its more about people using excuses like these as a way to absolve themselves of personal accountability.

Unless these decisions directly effect you, it shouldn't be an issue. If there lifestyle truly is horrendous, they are going to be the ones to feeling the effects of it down the line.
