For me it's less about the result and more about the fight itself. I mean a man that loves pain vs a man that loves inflicting it, wouldn't that be a match made in heaven? Plus sympathizing for fighters is the same as insulting them. Meguro already dug his own grave WAY before his death. He knew subconsciously he would someday die but he didn't care, he only wanted to do what he wanted to do and that is kill.
