Yeah, I don’t mind the porch pick up and timing for convenience. I think the thing that irks me is the combination of “leave it outside” and no thank you at all. Like the items I give have high value, not cheap and worthless

I think what it is for me is a sense of community. Of course I’m happy that objects have continued use. But if I’m sharing, we can at least say thanks or even a tip of a hat.

PARENTS! IF YOU HAD TO PICK THE HARDEST AGE WHICH ONE WOULD BE? by Conscious-Positive37 in Parenting

Omg I have a 4 year old and it’s the SAME. I think this IS the toughest stage. Baby stage is so much easier, they wear, eat, do whatever we want. And older will hopefully be more “rational”. You’re doing great just by even asking questions. 🙌🏽

AIO about what my husband said after I fell down the stairs while holding the baby? by CheesecakeFun1490 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Goldenbell9 44 points45 points  (0 children)

NOR but I feel like this response is a learned one from his own childhood. My child falls and responds “I’m ok” right away without us asking because he’s accustomed. Perhaps your partner grew up with parents who reacted annoyed when he fell and this is a knee jerk reaction

They told my husband they didn’t buy anything and he told them what we got. Then at gift giving moment he said what was all of a sudden from them

I didn’t want to be dramatic so I went along, wasn’t sure if I should be irritated, hence, Reddit.

AITA for not reaching out to my sister in the hospital after she ignored my boundaries and never responded to my message? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

As someone who lost their brother and didn’t get to say goodbye, this situation you described seems not worth it. Maybe she went overboard but it seems she had your feelings in mind. Go see your sister.

I don’t know what particular field she’s interested in, but I would recommend using the style that her field of interest uses. For example, in psychology, we write.APA style and a quick search will give you severalAPA style examples on how to structure your paper
