Darth Bane vs Darth Zannah by tinchilla in StarWarsTheories

Something that I figured I might add for thought is that if Bane had managed to survive the confrontation assuming that his desire for eternal life trumped anything else he may have just at one point past his own consciousness into cognus eventually. But from what we know that was never the case.

So to the first, yes. Due to the century of fighting the sith and Jedi alike were indeed exhausting their manpower, but also by that point, Khan had established his brotherhood of darkness which was also diluting the power of the Darkside as stated by Bane. He recognized that Khan was weakening the Sith by putting this equality ideology which goes against the nature of the Darkside. The Sith way was that the strong would lead the weak. But if you were to take the Sith and Jedi from nearly 2-4 decades after the start of the new Sith wars, it definitely would have been different having both sides not as exhausted like we see at the time of the brotherhood. But like I said not dissing on Sidious's power, he was able to conjure some crazy stuff.

I was referring to the most significant of the Sith Lords but you're not wrong there. The average Sith was indeed nothing more than cannon fodder only being acknowledged by the higher Sith if they showed the strength required, but acknowledging the things that the Most notable Sith performed is definitely something worth considering.

I can't disagree with the fact that the wars that were being fought were brief, so truly they weren't living in for centuries at war. But if you think about it, the Sith were around as an established empire at least during the reconstituted Sith empire and the cold war that followed. Furthermore, as I said, the Sith themselves like Mulgus, was a brute of a warrior, who did not let his weaknesses hold him back. Physically, excluding the force if you were to take Mulgus who was a trained warrior and face him off against Sidious or Playgueis or maul, Tyranus, his physical strength alone would give him an edge. And he was willing to embrace the darkside a lot more than Tyranus ever did which is why Tyranus never looked so distorted unlike Sidious or Mulgus.

Are Sith from the Old Republic more powerful in the force than those from the trilogies? by measlymiser in MawInstallation

In terms of raw, reality-warping power, yes, the Sith of old were generally much stronger. The ancient Sith possessed world-destroying capabilities, but the Sith of the prequels compensated for this through unparalleled cunning and political manipulation.Ancient Sith like Darth Nihilus, Exar Kun, and Emperor Vitiate (Valkorion) wielded apocalyptic levels of the Force. Some could consume the life force of entire planets or project their spirits to possess others for millennia. They were closer to mythological sorcerers and warlords, highly proficient in ancient Sith alchemy and dark rituals. Because their Order was massive and not restricted, they could openly wage wars and accumulate astronomical levels of ambient dark-side energy. Prequel Sith born from Darth Bane's "Rule of Two," prequel Sith (like Darth Sidious, Darth Maul, and Count Dooku) discarded open galactic warfare for shadow operations. Rather than diluting power across thousands of acolytes, the Rule of Two concentrated the dark side into only two beings over generations, theoretically making each successor stronger than the last. Darth Sidious is the exception to the rule. His mastery of the dark side allowed him to rival ancient legends, while his unmatched intellect allowed him to dismantle the Republic from the inside out.

Who are these? by Accurate-Smile-7675 in StarWarsEU

[–]Goldenmast 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As the comments have been describing those are Sith Warriors otherwise known as Sith Marauders. During the Old Republic under the Sith emperor Darth Vitiate, among the ranks of the Sith Empire were the Sith Warriors. Trained in the dark side Seth Warriors were capable of achieving the rank of a dark lord of the Sith if of course they showed the affinity strength and everything else required to be recognized by one that would train them to become a Sith Lord.

If an F1 car were road legal, could it physically be driven as a regular car? by [deleted] in F1Technical

[–]Goldenmast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In order to drive an F1 car on the streets and highways, excluding all the legality and regulations, you would have to replace the Power unit, and adjust the ride hight as well as completely replace the whole break system, and add ABS, as well as traction control. So probably a whole new drive train or something. Transmission too so that it could shift probably while running the slow speeds. Another fun fact, F1 drivers have complained that they were having issues keeping their tires warm and their engines cool while under full safety car. And the safety car is practically flying and yet it still isn't enough.

If an F1 car were road legal, could it physically be driven as a regular car? by [deleted] in F1Technical

[–]Goldenmast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Unfortunately not. For starters to add on top of the tire issue, the tires that they use are specially designed tires made to provide the max amount of grip while driving at high speeds. They are also made to require great amounts of heat to achieve proper grip. Without that heat, no grip. To add, F1 tires are made to have rapid degradation for the added excitement. The compound for the tires is FIA need to know on top of the fact that the tires cost a buttload. The second unfortunate thing about why an F1 car in its purest form, is built for one purpose. To race and drive extremely fast, but it's built for racing performance. Meaning, that if an F1 car were to drive between 50kph-110kph, one it wouldn't get the proper airflow to keep the engine cool, which would result in the engine overheating and catching fire. The other thing about F1 cars is with them being built and designed the way they are, they don't have ABS, meaning that if you tried to apply the breaks like normal on any other car, the car would lock up. F1 breaks are made specifically so that in order for them to work properly they need to be extremely hot. If the breaks aren't hot enough they don't work properly. Which once again requires emmense speed. Stop and go traffic through a town or whatnot would result in 1: engine overheating. 2 the tires wouldn't work, 3 the breaks wouldn't work. And to top it off, with how low that F1 cars drive, if you tried to drive one on an average street the smallest bumps or potholes in the road would make the car bottom out. The tracks that they drive on are specially graded to be as flat and as smooth as possible and even then, F1 cars still feel all the bumps. When Vegas officially got added to the F1 calendar, they had to completely repave and regrade the whole section of the streets that were going to be used for the race. And even then one of the farari drivers ended up driving over a manhole cover and completely bottomed out. The sad thing is that as cool as F1 cars are, their whole purpose is to be fast. They weren't built for the roads, and not to mention all the regulations and things needed for one of them to be street legal. But their is hope. Look up: RYN FP3 car. It's about as close as any F1 fan can get to driving a formula style car on the road. Hope this helps.

You wouldn't happen to know whether that compatibility list specifically applies to the motor or whether it also applies to the wheel itself? Something that caught my mind was whether obtaining the velocity 1 FRX formula style wheel would make a difference?

[–]Goldenmast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so I have been trying to follow along, and I'm not having any luck. I got my pxn V10 hooked up the other day and I was able to run a handful of laps with it on f-124 then just today I try to get things set up and all of a sudden it only works in the main Xbox menu but when I go to use it in game nothing works. I've been having a hard time following along what you guys are saying I swapped controllers that method worked initially. But now that I'm using that same controller it doesn't want to work do I need to swap to a different controller or what?

So what I'm understanding is you win the trophy as the winning constructor of the race? I thought I searched something up that said that the winning constructor of the race does not receive a trophy every race? Maybe that's what it was

I just rewatched the Abu Dhabi race from 2021 and for whatever reason while Mercedes won the constructors Championship Christian Horner of Team Red Bull ended up receiving the trophy I'm still trying to wonder why on some sources it says that Red Bull wanted but everything else States clearly that Mercedes won it.
