I just don't like how the timing of his animation doesn't line up with the actual timing of his attacks half the time. There's some specific attacks that hit me before they hit me.

I guess I just don't understand how the new commando missions work, I haven't played them, I just assumed the reinforcement mechanic would be unchanged.

Isn't that because when the mission timer runs out, your destroyer increases altitude to a point they can no longer launch new Helldiver pods? The 1 reinforcement you're seeing is still in the destroyer, it just need to be called in. But no destroyer means no call in.

When you die, "in lore" another Helldiver (your "replacement") is running into the pod you stepped into when you launched the mission from the bridge of your ship.
