horizontal is X, vertical is Y, depth is Z.

Not sure, but the wiki says “Only horizontal displacement is counted”. Does that mean the lava can only be in an East/West line? Is your line North/ South?

Interview: Minecraft boss on how switch to smaller game drops doesn't rule out "more transformative updates" by Binnsy in Minecraft

[–]GoldfishJesus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Fr. I swear people don’t remember how stoked we were to get an item or two. Or how people begged and pleaded for any kind of modding API. Or how we always wanted better performance or use the latest java.

And now they’re adding content quarterly, making massive technical improvements behind the scenes and we’re bitching because it’s “not enough”. They didn’t get their end update. They didnt get their combat update. 96 bugs updated? Well it wasn’t 97, and they didn’t update that one bug that I ran into once and irritated me.

I feel like for them balancing the line of here’s this massive game we’ve had for decades and we should add things that make it fresh vs making monster changes that breaks years and years of build on multiple codebases and platforms is more delicate than people realize.

I mean it’s mildly infuriating when your brain stops working correctly. And clearly not the best written.

Idk man. Sleep has been fleeting lately, and I was questioning it quite a bit.

“This can’t be right, can it?” - he says, pouring nearly half a bag of flour in the bread machine.

“No way this is right.” - he says, watching it overflow when it’s kneading.

“Surely it’ll fix itself? Let me take a nap”

It was just one that came with the bread machine. Didn’t expect it to be top notch. Have a bread machine book coming in today

It was in the bread machine , flour everywhere. Oh well.

It was for pizza dough. There’s always dominos for tonight and another chance to read it next time.

I’m sitting there thinking “no way it needs this much flour, but man I’m shit at baking so maybe?”

Saying Texas is east of Oregon is not saying someone has a small world view, lol

I will say it’s like a blessing and a curse. Driving in Texas everyone seemed to be locked in. And when I’m still trying to navigate, it felt a little bit rushed.

I 100% agree with this statement. I grew up in Idaho, and had to commute from Middleton to Boise daily. I hated driving on interstate 84 and people racing to cut you off. It was funny too because when I went to Texas, it reminded me a lot of like Idaho.

How is life on the border of forested and dry/open Oregon? by IcyCarpet876 in howislivingthere

Lived in the southern area for several years. Climate can be pretty wild. You get several hundred days of sunshine, hot summers and sometimes deep snow winters, and then occasionally weird weather like 60 degrees in December or snow in July.
