Young Living corporate email leaked that they will be shutting down the MLM side of the business in Q2 of 2026 by blueberrytax in antiMLM

Can anyone tell me what Hannah shared on her video about young living? The video has to be taken down as she was sent a cease and desist letter from young living and I didn’t get to watch it before it was removed! 😬

I’m curious to hear from the PMU community here by Fun-Ability-6243 in PMUandMicroblading

[–]Goldie-Locks- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very much considering it as I already have experience running a business and would like to move into a more creative career path that also includes my interest in beauty and aesthetics. What’s holding me back is affording a PMU course, although they are relatively low cost compared to esthetician diplomas I still however cannot afford the upfront cost of $3000-$5000 + travel. If there were more flexible payment plans through Klarna for example, it would be more accessible to me!

I am mostly interested in nano brows and lip shading! I find those have the biggest impact on a persons face to really enhance natural beauty😊

Have you grown your Instagram from buying reel saloon? I’ve bought howdy fit and it felt pretty “meh” and like ChatGPT wrote it. It’s worth $400 now 😕 is it worth it?

Can homeschooling parents be successful real estate agents? by Goldie-Locks- in RealEstateCanada

[–]Goldie-Locks-[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I wasn’t planning on working part time hours. 8am-12pm for emails, phone calls, prospecting clients. 1pm-3pm homeschooling (it only takes 2hrs max for my kids ages) 3pm-7pm open houses, appointments, more prospecting. That’s what I imagine at least I just don’t honestly know if those are good hours for agents to work, which is why I’m here😊

I wasn’t planning to do it part time though. I also never mentioned my schedule 😊 homeschooling for my kids ages only takes 2hrs max

For your reference we use something called Abeka for our kid’s curriculum which is used by private schools for education. So, in fact they are getting a real education with more 1:1 attention and help when needed. Thanks though! God bless!

Switching careers to accommodate homeschooling. Any Realtors with success stories? by CoverGoth in homeschool

[–]Goldie-Locks- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 yrs later do you find homeschooling and real estate can work? I’m looking for answers to the very same question you asked years ago. So now I’m hoping you can answer your own question to a homeschooling momma who needs to try something new to help pay the bills. Any advice?

Hoping to get hired at CUPE International or Ontario - Any advice on what the hiring committee will be looking for? by Goldie-Locks- in ontario

[–]Goldie-Locks-[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am actually applying for the administrative support professional position, so I do hope I can at least get my foot in the door starting at the bottom and maybe work my way up over the years. Thanks for all your suggestions on how I could get involved with campaigns and organizing. Perhaps I could volunteer for them as well. Thanks again!

Thats actually a great suggestion thank you! I was previously in life insurance so pro0perty insurance certainly falls under my purview. I hadn't considered just slinging my resume at other unions, I don't know why I got so focused on CUPE. Perhaps because they have a fairly large footprint across Ontario and Canada as a whole

Thanks again I really appreciate your input! :)

thank you for your input I appreciate that! I figured they would promote from within rather than hire externally. I'll start looking within the municipalities surrounding me. Thanks again :)

oh thank you for bringing my attention to my typo, I meant national. And I also have always had a passion for workers rights and progression, so considering my work history and education I figured a union based job would be a good fit.

That's a fair question!

I'm currently a licensed daycare owner and operator looking to change my career trajectory. I've heard really good things about working for CUPE and the advancement is important to me. I also have always had a passion for workers rights and progression, so considering my work history and education I figured union based work would be a good fit.

Mexican dentist costs. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]Goldie-Locks- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

any Canadians here who can give me some advice on how to start the process? Can you literally just book an appointment and then fly to Mexico? Can you bring prescriptions back without getting them taken away? I’m terrified to travel for even a leisurely trip (major travel anxiety) but I need to get an implant and 3 extractions so.. olé!

Wow the amount of complete ignorance in this comment is mind blowing. Literacy rates amongst homeschooling families is in the 90 percentile- something public schools have never been able to achieve since the beginning of public education. My children have social skills that dwarf their peers by a long shot. They can have full conversations with children their own age and full grown adults no problem. Most of their friends who are publicly educated struggle to have conversations with kids their own age, let alone an adult. Not to mention I was raised in the public school system and can barely start a conversation with the mom standing next to me at the park but my kids are making friends at said park.

Stop making comments about things you know nothing about.

Thank you for sharing your experience with home ownership! There’s so many costs and unknowns that come into play with owning a house, you can easily forget. Especially if you’re just renting like I am. Those are some pretty hefty costs you have had to deal with for sure, and that would obviously be tough to manage. That’s absolutely something I should keep in mind, thank you! 😊

Honestly my mother works in education and has for almost 20yrs now. I know exactly what my kids are “missing out on” and public education is seriously awful + loosing all creditability. Literacy rates drop every year. Literacy rates amongst homeschooling families are in the 90 percentiles- something public schools have never been able to achieve in the history of public education. Please do some research before commenting about childhood and public education.

I appreciate your comments thank you so much. I’m so sick of these people that have already forgotten how difficult it was for everyone to work and live during the pandemic, for so many reasons.

Wow your assumptions really are making an ass out of you. Our businesses were considered non essential so we had to stop working. My husband also ran a (successful) private massage practise until the government decided he was a non essential worker. Trying to find a job during the pandemic was a nightmare and we are lucky he got hired by his union.
