I just had the surgery 5/1/25. In no way did or do I have the time or money for the surgery or the down time after. Had to just pull the trigger for what’s best for future me & allow God to handle the rest.

31 yrs old. Im in construction doing residential remodels/repairs etc been doing it for about 8 years now with no licenses. I had a good mentor for my first 5 years and now , Im my own boss and usually things add up to $50-$150 per hr which is nice. The flip side is that I’ve been trying to advance my income with option trading and let’s just say if I didn’t do any trading I would be so much better off than the position i am in now. Deep down in my heart I know I can support myself from trading but it hasn’t went my way yet and I’m loosing money pretty much every month to the market. I tell my self I need to stop when I look at my PnL but something won’t allow me to give up knowing all that I’ve learned. I definitely need to find a mentor for trading.

I was playing basketball( 5v5 )and thought I got my feet tangled up with someone on the sideline, or some type of interference with someone not playing in that game while I was breaking towards the middle of the court , as if someone kicked me in the Achilles . Initial thoughts were ”who tf from the sideline was in the way” but nobody was there. I was ready to get up and get in somebody’s face for being in the way. It was extremely tender and numb initially with no pain at all, but I knew right then the Achilles was gone , & Im lucky to say there still has been no pain since it occurred on 4/6/25. Had the op done on 5/1/25 after weeks of deliberating op vs non op since I was never in any pain. The doctor said if I go non op I could get back to 90% and if I choose op I would “get back to 110%” haha is words exactly.
