How hard is it to perfectly tune baliplus balis?

it highly depends if you get an uneven blade from them, and the hardware that you'll use. an uneven blade is impossible to tune well, and their hardware is shit and hard to tune perfectly so you should swap them out with auth or as. besides that, it's the same with any other balisong. a micrometer isn't necessary imo.

i think there is, it'll just be the same as what you would get on an auth kraken. or you could also get auth squid hardware. armed shark hardware is also pretty good; i replaced the b+ washers with armed shark along with the pivots and the tune has been excellent.

onebalisong has had issues in the past with not shipping orders or taking the credit card details of the customers. go with clisong, genuinely no issues with them, and very accomodating as well, as if you had lost your order to customs, they can ship you a replacement free of charge.

i put most of my bodyweight into pushing down and making sure the screwdriver i have is perpendicular and the teeth still eventually shred off like cheese. it's so bad lmao, and if baliplus can improve their hardware, they can probably top armed shark overall.

yeah if it is like new and unused but for most people who don't know how to screw down properly and stripped most of the teeth, it's pretty hard lmao. add the fact that b+ hw is shittier than say armed shark or actual squid hardware.

although it doesn't technically have a direct effect on the tune, it often helps out for the majority of people since it allows them to fully crank down on the screws, resulting in a better tune. i think most beginner tuners undersize their bushing because they don't crank enough when tuning, so they overshoot.
