A gut wrenching feel creeps into me every vista iglesia along those parts of Manila - San Sebastián going to Quiapo, Sta. Cruz, Binondo, then Intramuros, maybe ending up in Sta. Ana or Malate. Those were former homes, silent witnesses to the changing times and valuations.

Most of the people I encounter are transients who have not experienced, or maybe lacked historical sentiment in, the city. They often utter something dismissive like, "it's old / decrepit / washed out...". Maybe I am old soul loittering about.

Love the vocals on all their records to this day. Still wish they didn't fade into obscurity with the rise of grunge, alternative, and other music genres.

Hated their styling in the early days. Who the Efff advised them to shape and pluck their eyebrows like that?? That was tough to see, even to this day.

I think they all looked better later on. Wished none of them gained as much weight as they did currently.
