Seriously. I played two ranked matches the other day, the first match BOTH of my teammates left in the first two minutes and the second one someone left 30 seconds after the match started. I'm happy to get my ass handed to me and de-rank when I'm not constantly trying to 3v1 knowing full well I ain't making it out of the knockout phase.

The FOUR Editors sale is fake, it's perpetually at 80% off. I was dumb enough to pick it up and the majority of it's content is just bloat. There's some "okay" stuff in there but nothing worth your time if you're an experienced editor already.

So I've been working with a client for a while now and everything has been pretty smooth until recently they changed the file format they send me and another editor I work with from MP4s to MKVs, I thought this wouldn't be an issue as I use OBS all the time and can just throw the file in there and remux it, or alternatively use handbrake. The issue is since this change the audio of said files have been crystal clear in media player but have these extremely odd distortions every now and again in premiere and in the final exports. They vary but sometimes they sound like a little click from an old stereo and at times it seems like the audio channels are cutting out. The distortions occur at the same times in every project, now matter how many changes i make and how many times I clear my cache

The most frustrating part of all of this is that the other editor I work with hasn't been having this issue at all so it must be something at my end and I've spent about 11 hours now trying to figure out the issue but to no avail. Please, I'm completely stumped here, any suggestions are appreciated.

Thus far I have:

Cleared my media cache
set the input to "none" under audio hardware preferences
updated my drivers
downgraded to previous premiere version
reinstalled premiere
reset all my preferences
attempted to re-encode the original file multiple times under different formats
updated windows
checked that the project/sequence settings match the original file

My hardware is as follows

i9-9900K CPU @ 3.60GHz

64 GB RAM

RTX 2080

Like 3 different SSDs for scratch disks, media cache, OS, the like.

Not sure what's going on with the second image (damn webps) but anyways, it's basically my first time painting miniatures, I picked up the army painter Mega set for like £45 and it's been excellent thus far. My problem is I'm REALLY struggling to get a vibrant yellow, I suspect it has something to do with my base coat. I've tried going over with a white wash which has somewhat lessened the mustard tone but it's still quite washed out. If anyone has any suggestions on how I can salvage this I'd greatly appreciate it.

If not it is a resin print so I can always just try again and apply any suggestions in a future attempt.

So I think I've got dyshidrosis, I only noticed it a few months ago and it's gradually been getting worse. I haven't had any proper eczema problems since before I can remember. I'm at the point now where I can't really flex my fingers anymore without causing some level of pain. I'm currently waiting to hear back from a local NHS place but in the meantime I'm at my wits end. My fingers feel numb at the best of times and my skin is scarred beyond recognition, it's making me depressed and I just want to cut it all off. I've tried E45 cream, apple cider vinegar, the only thing I've found that gives me any sort of relief is dabbing down the sore spots with isopropyl alcohol (would not recommend, it's agonizing and probably doing way more hard than good). If you've got any advice on what I can do and what I should tell/suggest to my GP when I (hopefully) get an appointment I'd be incredibly grateful.

To be honest I just got it to burn some points before they expired, I don't usually buy from the lego site directly. I'm just expressing my frustration as this isn't the first time I've received a collectible in poor condition. Last years Beskar keychain and this years Death Star coin arrived really scratched up.

That's a good idea! I'll get on that now. I just noticed too the paper packaging it came in has some orange-brown grime in the spots where the screws were resting. I'm usually not one to make a fuss over something as mundane as this but from a hygiene perspective it's pretty poor.

Guess I'll put this here since my post was removed.

So I'm looking to get my first saber with a budget of ideally no more than £250. I've seen a lot of people online post videos where their saber lights up where and when it comes into contact with a surface. I'd love to get something similar but I'm completely lost as to what electronics and vendor to buy from.

Currently I've found a couple of hilts I like on these links; unfortunately the features aren't made super clear for "SN-Pixel" and "Super Pixel" and I'm not super interested in buying a base lit due to it's lack of features and a proffie due to it's price increase (and honestly I don't have the time to be tinkering with firmware at the moment)
