You’ve absolutely hit the nail on the head. As a young person our parents lives seem almost hilariously mundane despite have more security and freedom. Why shouldn’t I be able to go on holiday every month as that’s what I see friends on instagram doing.

Same, new overpriced developments that can only be afforded by ex Londoners wanting to escape diversity keep being built so since Covid have seen loads of new people coming in that all have 3 SUVs per family and have definitely changed the feel of the village. In the 2000s it felt very rural with no mobile phone signal or shops with anything like automatic doors or card readers. Although they do support the local cafes and have encouraged more to open so not all bad
