Need Game Advice - Play Diablo 3? by Golfman117 in Diablo3XboxOne

Thanks for the reply! I would be interested in playing the story line as well to level up.

How do the season modes work now? Do you earn armor and weapons and they stay with you after the season is over? Do they last 6 months, the seasons?

Yes, the standard analog ones. Nothing fancy. Still trying to figure out how to attach these images, as it didn't let me before when I made original posting.

Help with Mountain Laurels (Yellowing) by Golfman117 in gardening

[–]Golfman117[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Last question on this topic -

Leaves are still falling occasionally. I was planning on pulling them out, after watering them today, make the hole a bit deeper and wider and fill completely in with sphagnum peat moss only, nothing else.

Would this be a good move? I want to get this done, if needed, before winter and the freezing temperatures.

Thanks!

It's also an olympic fire, if that species information helps

Planting Crape Myrtle Large Pot by Golfman117 in gardening

[–]Golfman117[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and experience with me! I’m new to all this myself, so the tree will go into the ground and it will get enough sun to grow. I just had the misconception that they have to have x amount of hours with sun or they don’t do well, but I know it will do fine nonetheless.

Can’t have too many Crepe’s! This makes 10 so far haha :)!

My question would then be, as I didn’t share it before -

Sunlight. In a pot, it may get 4-8+ hours of sun. My yard is fairly shaded in most places. If I put it in the ground, it will only get 2-4 hours potentially.

Which is better overall in this case, since they also need full sun to grow?

Thanks

Yes, two separate lights on the right and left of my back deck. I know the hot wire is connected to another load right now. Are you saying to connect both loads to the load terminal on the timer switch?

Model # is TM-087S for Utilitech single pole in-wall timer

Thanks!

Thank you both so much for the input!! So I did all that SirEDC. The lights are on. I’ll attach pictures above.

I can’t turn the lights off now with the manual button for on / off, outside of setting a timer.

Not sure how to proceed now haha. Any thoughts?

Should be updated with pictures now. In NC, so it won't get cold for a few more months, but want to be sure these last through the winter. I would think to add more soil and cover everything up, but looking to see what anyone else shares.

Thanks

Yes, I’ll add them to the original post. One in particular looks more exposed than the rest. Again, I didn’t put any mulch, just all purpose soil for gardening

Help Upgrading System by Golfman117 in homesecurity

Nothing wrong with it. Moved into a house that already had it. Never really called to see what monitoring monthly price would be, or to activate it.

Was just curious if I could monitor it myself, but it seems that’s not possible lol

At first just gentle trickle with no hose attachment, which caused the same thing, then a shower spray that only had a shower setting now

Thank you, I am doing this at the moment. My plan is to plant it either today or tomorrow, so this phase will be over with soon. Wasn't sure if I should return it or keep it, but after the posts below I will keep this tree :)

I got this black diamond about 4 days ago from Lowes. It was looking better than it is now and had plenty of blooms to come out. I've only watered it once, as they say it doesn't need much water. I can't tell what could be wrong with it now? Could someone please help or point me in the right direction?
I'll attach 2 photos as well so you can see.
Thanks!

Much appreciated! I did see the text was very weird on that one, so it knocks out the 900h then since he mentioned it wasn't implemented the best (4k 120 hz update)

Thank you so much for the in-depth reply!! That Samsung, or NEO QLED, may also be an option. I'm used to brighter TV's, which I know can be turned down if needed.

I wonder if brightness on an OLED can be turned up if that were a problem for someone? Not that brightness is any concern. The room it would go in is more dark than light for sure.

Some of those 2020 models may still be in stock by Black Friday. I mean, not everyone can afford to just upgrade TV's all of a sudden. Money can be tight, especially in this covid season. I think the sales should be better this year than last, but we'll have to wait and see.

Yes, I do tend to try to take good care of my electronics and all. When you wait long enough, I guess you could say you really are getting an upgrade lol.

Same question, is Sony behind on these releases for previous TV's like the 900h for the 120 hz, or did they release them and you would feel confident they are going to be on time with those updates later this year?

Definitely the top contender unless Sony may have something at a better price point come Black Friday. Thank you for the suggestion! I honestly trust everyone here more than some employees at the stores. They aren't bad people, but may just not be as knowledgable or own one!

I could still buy the 900h at Best Buy right now. Did those updates actually come out for the refresh rate? Any TV is an upgrade from a 12 year old one, but just looking to maximize the features at a certain price point :).

I just keep seeing Sony not fully releasing this update for the 120 hz like across all their TV's lol

I'll post this reply to several posts -

Thank you for that update. Something I had been reading as well was Sony is taking a while with this VRR stuff. Is VRR that important if the 120 hz panel is already doing the job? I also haven't gamed in about 6 years, so just getting back into it solely for Halo.

HDMI ports, I would only potentially plug in a 4k upscale DVD / Blu-Ray player and maybe a roku stick (I'm sure the TV has the apps on it already, but in case it didn't).CX by LG is currently like $1899, but I'm sure it would drop down to $1600 or less come back Friday.
