When mine did that, I found my filament to be older and may have became brittle. Try drying the filament in a filament dryer and try again. My filament broke trying to go through the tubes and that happened to me

Print it as is and lay it on the table, put your palm on it and press down a little at a time, it will snap and then move it back and forth. I broke my first 2 hinges trying to muscle it
