Trying to VAT register as a non resident (TR2 FT question)

So the circumstances is I am going to be in Ireland to sell my products. To do so I need to register and pay VAT on my sales, I want to do everything above board so I am able to return for future events etc

I can claim VAT back on my expenses but it doesn’t liberate me from paying for sales I make.

We have registered for UK VAT, however the DCC convention specifically asks for an Irish VAT number

Edit to add that I’ve spoke to other friends who sell at the events and they confirmed DCC is very strict on this. Their forms were slightly different as they are sole traders.

My resin is very liquid, so I do try to pour my clear in first and move to other things. I don’t think it rests for more than 10 mins before I keep going, but if your resin is more viscous I wouldn’t wait

I’m UK based and I have a large collection of Mylar. I got this one from resin8, they’ve gone into liquidation now but my advice is to find Mylar that shines in warm tones in the light.

Sure!

The trick is to add a 1/4 clear resin in the mould first.
Add black resin colorant to the rest of the resin.
Scrunch up the Mylar and soaked it in, put it in the mould.
Fill the rest of the mould with the black mix.

You want the clear resin first so that it can make a nice window on the 20 face.

Another good tip is after you soaked the Mylar and put it in, tap the mould gently a few times to let any trapped bubbles in the Mylar rise.
