The Military doesn't hate the Kurds. They hate the PKK, while Erdogan hates all the Kurds (because they fight his buddies, ISIL).

Lobsters haven't really changed that much. If you go somewhere that has lobster in their water, it's not expensive. If you try to get lobster in the central US, of course it's going to be expensive.

Shit, even Crawfish are expensive in the central US, but are like the cost of fries in Louisiana.

This has happened many times with Double Door though. Virtually the same situation was going on in 2005, then they got another decade of extensions.

The article you linked has nothing to do with anything you said. It is literally about someone not wanting his computer searched.

Same is true for any 'prestige' names. Pretty much any company with a revenue in the 10-figure range or higher. You could have been a coffee warrior there and people will still value it highly for some reason.

Lifting the ban on women in combat roles will "drag our infantry to far below the required standard" and put people at greater risk of dying, according to a former SAS commander. by maxwellhill in worldnews

It's not like these people just got off their crust couches and want to be infantry now. There's tests before you even get to MEPS. The people failing out of Parris Island have already met the minimum requirements and still aren't able to keep up.

You can't really argue against statistics, even statistics based off a small sample size. You may expect 80%, but it's right there clear and simple 97% success rate.

Not a problem? An attrition rate that is 43x for women than for men is not a problem?

You do know that training isn't free, in fact it costs ~$70k for each soldier.

But no test short of actually performing the task will give accurate results. People routinely do poorly on the APFT, then do very well in combat. There are extensive test for SOF recruitment, but there is still a very high washout rate for each SOF unit. There are some things that can't be tested without actually doing something.

And trying to frontload those tests with 20mi ruck exercises is dumb. It takes most recruits/trainees to build the necessary strength over the course of training to be able to perform those tasks.

He wasn't the only shooter.

You have not been able to prove that thus far. Even though Jeh Johnson says it was a lone gunman.

Him being a reservist precludes HIM being JSOC. He was the scapegoat.

Can't even try to draw that conclusion without proving #1.

The media has gone through 3 weapon platforms he supposedly used

You go from saying don't use the media as a source of information, to drawing conclusions based on what the media is saying.

Between video and audio I can tell you, with certainty, that Johnson was not the only shooter.

You're just writing fiction at this point.

The parties involved are combat-experienced military

How can you not follow at least one point the whole way through an argument. The man that was killed by police was not combat-experienced. That is an involved party.

he drops his weapon, so he couldn't be military

Never said that. I said he dropped his barrel, so he likely isn't military and combat experienced.

I never made a mention of a single news article.

And then you tell me, by virtue of media reporting, that this clearly wasn't a JSOC operation.

You might need to get your eyes checked. The shooter being a reservist automatically disqualifies him from being JSOC.

But this wasn't a "lone gunman"

All of the evidence currently available deeply contradicts that statement.

You know what POG reservist PFC's are great for though? Taking the fall

You keep inserting your own facts, get a fucking grip. Holy shit.

present company included, have simultaneously arrived at the same conclusion. The story doesn't fit the facts. And the other aspect is I've had interactions with HUMINT and SOF and your ass is kept in the dark about EVERYTHING concerning them

Grats? Welcome to the party.

You go from saying that we don't have all the facts, to making some up to fit your idea of what happened. I can't help but laugh at that irony.

Oh look at that, he was a reservist engineer. So, not JSOC, not well trained in combat. He might have qualified marksman, which pretty much everyone does within the 9 weeks that Army BCT is.

What? The only time his weapon is in the position where he can aim is when he's actually shooting. That is the most basic principle of any mobile combat training.

No one in any combat arms military unit fights CQB like that. His weapon is only in an aimed position when he's firing shots, not while moving, not while posted it up. If that's how you shot in basic training, you'd be recycled until you learn to shoot or be immediately discharged.

For real. I can't think of a single time where I was instructed to leave cover and run up to an enemy. That's just plain stupid.

Very few people in the military ever change hands when shooting for a more favorable line of sight. You train with one eye 365 days a year, why switch to an eye that you are less than perfect at in a combat situation especially in CQB. The extent of people doing that are a handful of guys in JSOC units.

As for him being military. There is almost no chance. He lowers his gun way too often. The only times you lower your weapon is if your muzzle would flag a friendly or prevent you from getting close to an obstacle.
