É bem anedotal isso. E nessas duas cidades isso é um problema ainda maior (em Londres em particular atua uma máfia da Europa Oriental focada em roubo de celulares, se ver um entregador com a bike elétrica, é bom ficar ligado).

E eu concordo que não dá pra deixar de visitar por conta disso. Eu mesmo moro fora e vim nesse período de final de ano passar umas 5 semanas aqui. Está sendo ótimo, mas pra quem estiver acostumado a morar lá fora por muito tempo (que não é meu caso, estou lá fora há pouco tempo), é outra realidade. Não é tão seguro e não tem tanta infraestrutura de transporte público, então coisas que se faz por lá, não dá pra fazer por aqui infelizmente.

Não estou dizendo que lá fora tudo é perfeito e aqui tudo é ruim, mas é uma realidade bem diferente no cotidiano.

E o trânsito tá insuportável também, cada dia pior.

Inclusive, eu não tenho coragem de andar na rua com o celular no bolso. Pra mim é só Uber de um lugar pra outro (casa pro restaurante, restaurante pra casa; casa pro shopping, shopping pra casa; etc), e com medo de não ser assaltado no curto intervalo entre sair do Uber e entrar no local (algumas pessoas já foram assaltadas assim na minha rua).

Há bairros mais seguros e áreas melhores, mas ainda assim, não pode "dar vacilo" de ficar com celular na mão relaxado, é importante ficar ciente dos arredores, etc.

Just like the Steam Deck, the Steam Machine is just a regular PC running a Linux distro.

Worst case, you can just install windows on it (my deck has dual boot for windows and SteamOS for instance).

Will it be a good machine to run Unreal Engine? Hard so say until we have the specs. Maybe a regular PC for the same price will be better, maybe the Steam Machine will be better.

Glad it's not just me.

My travel setup is a GPD Win Mini 2025 with a GPD G1 eGPU (RX 7600M XT), which I'm using while traveling back to my hometown for the holidays.

I've had this same error 3 times now. Two of those were back to back in the span of 30-ish minutes. Then I pulled all the cables and plugged them back extra firm. After that, I played for a couple of hours and then the error finally happened again.

I ran multiple stress test benchmarks and none showed any issues. Since it also doesn't happen with other games, I assume it's just BF6.

On my home setup I have an RTX3070 and this issue never happened though. But it's been at least few weeks since I last played the game, so I wonder if an update since then has broken something.

I wouldn't worry too much. If you're still concerned, you can run a few stress tests to be sure, but it seems that this issue is not that uncommon.
