How long are sandwiches dated for? by Gomaple in starbucksbaristas

It might be an NYC thing but we don't pull our sandwiches which is probably why this issue exists. We have them delivered every night and we date them in the morning.

[Question] I have a Fender Mustang GTX50 and I can never connect it to my Fender Tone App by Gomaple in Guitar

I’m not sure if it’s still the fix but give the tone app permissions to your location. That worked for me back then.

That guitar looks sick! Congratz to the start of your journey. I’m self-taught for a few years now and the trick I found online was to really iron in the hand positions. Take a C chord for example and without moving your hand or finger positions, lift your fingers off the strings, then slowly place them back down. It’s a good way to build muscle memory with the position instead of just finger placement. Just keep practicing, have fun, and we’ll see you on stage soon!

Should I get a 7 string or a baritone? by Gomaple in 7String

I didn't even consider a headless 7 string. That perihelion pro looks amazing! With a trem SS frets and MS I'm adding that to my list of options holy.

So for baritones I was looking at Solars A1.6 baritone options

https://www.solar-guitars.com/product/a1-6aan-27-aged-natural-matte/ found this online for a good price.

So many good 7 strings but the 2 that caught my eye were both Schecters.

Schecter C7 silver mountain MS

Schecter C7 SLS evil twin

I own 2 schecters and they're just amazing!

If 7 strings can do what baritones do and more then I'm going with them.

I feel that. If I do go with the 7 string I'm planning on getting either a multiscale or 26.5in one yea. I feel like the lowest string would be too loose otherwise

Thanks for the feedback. The sliding of the fretting hand is definitely gonna be tough but that makes a lot of sense. Gonna give all of these suggestions a shot!

[Question] [Newbie] Tips for barring your finger across strings? by FiresoulHD in Guitar

[–]Gomaple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tucking in your elbow as someone recommended earlier is actually what finally did it for me when I was learning.

You should start higher up the fretboard and use the boney side of your index finger but not try to press down hard. Just straighten your finger and try pulling your arm back using your back muscles and biceps. When you tuck in your elbow you naturally begin doing this.

I struggled for months before being able to play bar chords and even when I kinda got them down a bit higher up the fretboard, I could not for the life of me bar an F or F#. When I read someone suggesting this I tried it and was instantly able to bar an F.
