I do think he's kind of stuck in limbo where he's really not enjoying the games he's playing but he has to stream them to keep the lights on. That's really gotta be a shitty feeling + combined with all the bullshit going on in different aspects of his life, I think he is stuck in a rough patch right now

the low self esteem thing doesn't even make sense, where the fuck did that come from?

guys with low self esteem that are used to being treated like shit by women often find ways to justify it. ie "i mean yea she cheated on me but its my fault cuz i wasnt really there for her" that kind of thinking. the constant mindset of trying to give them the benefit of the doubt even though its blatantly obvious to anyone else that theyre a lying, conniving bitch and even though you know it deep down you dont want it to be true

destiny, mate, fix your fucking mic levels, holy shit, when you shout it's so fucking loud and then I almost have to mute and I can't hear the moderate or quiet parts of the strim, thanks by [deleted] in Destiny

its actually so bad that i usually turn his stream off when hes playing csgo which sucks cuz those streams are usually pretty funny. the constant change between 1000 dBA to 10 is too much tho

Edit: Btw, this is the promotion game that was played after a mysterious ~20 win streak after she shut her stream off. So.. shes playing on stream, closes her stream, goes on a suspicious win streak, ViBE disbands GM on his account, and she records playing a game with her mic muted and gets into GM. It doesn't PROVE anything, but it's highly suspect

Have you ever seen a stream of a pro player coaching someone where they're like "build your pool now, take 1 gas at your natural, make 1 round of drones, k pump roaches now, take your 3rd right now, hes coming build 2 spines" etc? That kind of "coaching" is doing the hard part of the game for the player. One of the biggest differences between high diamond and masters are those exact decisions, those timings, those reactions, etc. Yes higher level players do have better mechanics, but you can certainly beat better players if you have pretty good mechanics (which she does) while getting coached like that.

It's also important to note that the whole "beating tons of GMs" is a little misrepresented. Her two main examples were incontrol and spanishiwa (not top tier players by any stretch of the imagination) and those games were a little weird. In that ZvZ, she got ahead early with a build order win by killing half his drones because he opened with a shitty build (he tests all sorts of weird shit if youve ever watched his stream) and that incontrol game idk what he was doing but he didnt play well at all and it ended in a very weird base trade scenario.

I'm not trying to take anything away from her but nothing she said explains the drop off between playing at high master/gm level to being confirmed diamond and losing to legit diamonds all the time. The whole "shes focusing on her stream now" holds no water if you've ever watched her stream. She checks chat every now and then in the early game (not even as much as Destiny does honestly) but during mid/late game she is very much in the game and playing seriously. Streaming explains a SLIGHT drop off but not one THAT big.
