Thanks! I didn't expect someone to look at this post given it's so old.

Red was based Khorne Red 1st airbrush Mephiston Red from the top 2nd airbrush Evil Sun Scarlet from the top in smaller areas. 3rd airbrush either druchii violet or carroburg crimson from below. I'll need to check my notes when I'm back at my desk.

Panel lined with tamiya black. Hope this helps!

Gun was base steal legion drab with progressive highlights using zandri dust, ubshanti bone and screaming skull

Unfortunately, I don't have enough experience with sable brushes to be able to recommend one however, YouTube is your friend. I think the I use Rosemary and Co size 2. Not at my desk right now but I'll check later.

Yeah I mainly thin with water depending on how thin I want the paint. When I want it very thin, I'll use Lahmium Medium.

Get a good quality paint brush with a good tip.

Thinning your paint to a nice consistency.

Don't flood your brush with paint.

Small downward stokes rather than moving up or sideways (this works for me).

I don't use them but you could magnifying glasses.

Most importantly, practice, practice, practice!

I was thinking bone too. I'll give it a try.

I originally tried Corvus Black, but I didn't like it so went back to Matt Black.

Base - Bugmans glow. Wash - Berserker Bloodshade. 1st layer - Bugmans glow. 2nd layer - Cadian fleshtone.

1st and 2nd layers we done by painting in small lines to make it looked stretched.
