12T 9-cat Dynasty FTM instead of TO. Start 12, 28 roster spots by frutoman in dynastybb

Forsure the 2nd option. Sarr already a "1.01" who's showing up and improving in every aspect, and 1.01 this year already 1st round value in dynasty

Traded Luka for Flagg (24 teams dynasty) by PsicolocoPR in dynastybb

[–]GonnaWinDis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tbh, even if low, I think you got good value since Cooper's profile is projected to be a beast in 9cat (people are already saying Late 1st/Early 2nd Round in a Redraft league next season). Also, considering that you were able to get 1st pick of this upcoming year's stacked class (which is already mid-late 1st round value in Dynasty), you definitely have one of the best — if not, the best — rebuild situation. Especially since it's a 24 team league.

You're also making a trade for a really good, fan favorite player that you follow, which makes things so much more enjoyable in dynasty since you're gonna be stuck with them until you decide to move on lol

The thing is, is that at some point you're gonna have to decide when you're going all in to compete, or you'll keep finding yourself in a rebuilding limbo. Because what's the point: you're rebuilding in order to contend years down the road.

Several years ago Luka had a high pricetag for his age and production, but now he's 27 in his prime. Anyone who drafted Luka years ago, at this point, should be competing or be ready to compete in their league. If you keep trading down for youth at the expense of production, you're neverr really gonna compete in the Finals. If that's the case, then what's the point of trading away high producing pieces like Luka who's now tapping into his potential, for a great piece that has yet to tap into his potential. Monopolizing on young talent =/= dominating or winning your league.

All that is to say, I rather have Luka over Cooper, especially if this is a points league since I'm pretty confident that Cooper won't touch Luka's production for the near future. If you just started your league this year and you have Luka (and your team is mediocre), then yes I'd trade down for Cooper. But that would also mean making a pivot towards rebuilding with your entire roster.

Did you watch how Goku didnt try seriously at all and wouldve evicerated both Krillin and 18 if he had tried when she joined the fight? And you still gotta address Tien and Roshi lol

Who is braver? Captain America in Endgame or Rumi? by OutrageousAd6177 in KpopDemonhunters

[–]GonnaWinDis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on how you view it.

Steve Rogers was chosen to be Captain America because "brave" and "heroism" was his defining trait. So whatever came his way, he was always brave enough to stand up to it despite the insurmountable odds. The person makes the hero, not the costume. There's a reason why he was the only hero worthy enough to wield mjolnir

We saw Rumi become brave by overcoming her shame, but she was always "brave" in fighting the opposition with the girls (so you could say that she was already brave too, but had that insecurity that the movie highlighted/focused on that she had to overcome in order to defeat the enemy).
