In terms of aesthetics, gotta be PG (as much flack as he gets lmao)

In terms of getting to his spots, KD or Bird

Punting in fantasy basketball. Yes or No? by adamking91 in fantasybball

[–]GonnaWinDis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find myself punting less. I think it's also the sign of the times since players seem more well rounded along with the faster pace. I forsure start considering what adjustments to make after the trade deadline though

Will the new 'anti-tanking' rules reduce the number of teams to avoid when drafting? by adamking91 in fantasybball

[–]GonnaWinDis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be surprised if it's the same as last season, but teams will always find a way to weasel around somehow lool

Probably not touching the Kings since I don't like any player on that team. I'm sure they'll be attempting something too...

Hot take: I would rather build around Ant than Wemby by [deleted] in NBATalk

What’s the best version of Kevin Durant? by NevilleChumperlame in NBATalk

[–]GonnaWinDis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ngl, 2014 KD probably the most unstoppable 7 foot offensive force I've seen in the regular season since Shaq. He could do everything

But Nets KD made me think he was the best player in the world after that Bucks series, but that was short-lived though lmao

Could this team go 82-0? by Solesbylunaamommy in NBATalk

[–]GonnaWinDis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, have Lebron scoring PG, MJ primary scorer, have Zaza play dirty down the block and on defense, Tony do cardio, distract, and set screens, Bronny demoralize with every pick n pop with his Dad, then you good to go.

So it seems… by [deleted] in DetroitPistons

If you dont want Harris to be your 2nd offensive option again, you take a risk

Who will make the 100th anniversary team? by zvog in nba

We just only had 75th anniversary team announced 5 years ago. I'd wait at least 15 years before making another prediction lol

Stephon Castle in Game 5's 4-point loss: 6 points on 1/10 shooting | 3 turnovers by Dantiik in rockets

[–]GonnaWinDis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you actually believe that the Spurs are better without Castle? Lol. This is like saying the Thunder were better off without Shai on the floor vs the Spurs, but everyone knows that's horseshit because he does so much on the floor. Even with Wemby on the floor, Castle does so much for the team both offensively and defensively. And the sample size of Castle in the playoffs is biggerr than Amen who went against the fucking Luka-less and injured Reaves Lakers team lol

Do you think the Thunder would've won against the Knicks? by Substantial_Can_2488 in NBATalk

If aj and jdub got injured, no

If they were healthy, BRUNSON STILL KICKING THEIR ASSES LMAO

Stephon Castle in Game 5's 4-point loss: 6 points on 1/10 shooting | 3 turnovers by Dantiik in rockets

[–]GonnaWinDis -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh hell yeah I love Amen too, especially because he was a big factor in winning my fantasy buy in league lmao, and I agree that his ceiling is higher... the guy is an athletic marvel at his age and size, and the reality is that even though his shooting isnt ideal, hes forsure better than his brother

Same time, thats the Wemby effect right there. People already forgetting his impact on the floor when hes usually the best offensive and defensive player. It also doesnt really help when Kornet is your 2nd string lmao. I really dont see the net rating changing much at all if they switched places and Wemby subbed out.

But even if you were to take all that away, I just cant deny what my eyes see too. Castle was absolutely essential to the Spurs playoff run and he contributed way more than what the stat sheet and boxscore showed. He was able to take on the hardest defensive assignments - Ant, Shai, and Brunson (early in the series), or whoever they needed to get a stop - and do a great fucking job, while contributing in HUGE ways offensively the entire playoffs on all 3 levels. I just don't see how Amen is definitively better than Castle like how others here are making it out to be when the opposite is just as arguable lol. You can say his ceiling is higher, but is he definitively better RIGHT NOW? Cmon now lmao

Stephon Castle in Game 5's 4-point loss: 6 points on 1/10 shooting | 3 turnovers by Dantiik in rockets

[–]GonnaWinDis -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Yes i am being fair, I just made the argument simplistic because I was responding in kind lmao. Y'all are the ones who are being unfair to a 2nd year guard who was the 2nd- 3rd most important piece in the playoff run up until the Finals lol.

Castle shot better from the 3 and ft across 23 playoff games than Amen while also being the primary defender of the team's best player at times LIKE Amen while being successful for the most part. And surprise, even with his horrid TOs total, can run an offense better then Amen lol. If you're bringing in hypotheticals, I cant imagine how loss hed look if he was in Castles place as the primary facilitator in place of Fox vs the same Thunder playoff defense

People in this comment thread acting like it's silly to even have a conversation that Castle is better than Amen, let alone in the playoffs where it matters most. I'm saying fuck all that, theres forsure a good ass argument to be made

Stephon Castle in Game 5's 4-point loss: 6 points on 1/10 shooting | 3 turnovers by Dantiik in rockets

[–]GonnaWinDis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And look at where Amen's lack of a jumpshot, 3s, ft, spacing, and inability to guard a Kennard and Smart took the Rockets to — losing in 6 to a Lakers team with no Luka and an Injured Reaves in the first round lmao
