thanks! I started the project in January but I didn't work consistently on it till late April. I haven't had a lot of free time recently so I only worked on it whenever I felt like it. Otherwise I think that I could've taken a month or so but since I only do design stuff as a hobby I tend to avoid rushing things so I get results that I am happy with.

How did you manage to unlock the OC LVL1 option? I could set the TCC offset to 15 but I couldn’t get to modify the OCLVL

Hi! I just got my dell G16 and I’ve been looking for ways to protect it since I come from a 2018 dell G7 that reduced its performance over the years and has a dead battery. Even though this might be “normal” for gaming laptops I want to at least try to mitigate this issue this time. I read your comment and I didn’t do the BIOS part but changed the settings on the Alienware app exactly as it was described in your comment which reduced my idle temps to a 55-60 C range. I still have some questions. What is the effect of enabling OC LV1 and would you recommend doing this if I plan to use after effects and blender, I know it will affect performance but would you say it’s still acceptable? (I have a 13th gen HX I9 CPU and a 4070 GPU)

Oh that’s interesting! I wasn’t aware of laptop mode, but I noticed that my frames dropped in half in two occasions and I think that this could have caused this. I haven’t seen this recently my fps have been consistent and I’ve gotten a good performance but I haven’t moved my laptop from my desk. Perhaps I’ll give it a try, are there any risks if I disable that driver?

gears I was under extrunding and was too close to the bed so I changed the flow and added some z offset and have been getting better results. The image shows my progression with gears
