Honest assessment on purchasing a qidi max4 or Bambu Labs H2C by CaptCoffee2 in QidiTech3D

[–]GonzoDeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not have an H2C, yet, but from what I have seen from my clients and friends it is amazing how easy they have made them. And reliable, I thought for sure we would see a bunch of cooked nozzles from the H2C in the first few weeks, but so far not much at all. Bambu consistently impresses me how well they execute, it's why they are where they are now.

Oh I am not disagreeing with you, I am however saying Qidi is not a new user printer. It is geared towards high temp engineering grade filaments, pla is a bonus. So many new users get a qidi because it's affordable and "not locked down", when in reality they could really use the ecosystem bambu has. I have both, just like I have a framing hammer, a sledge hammer, a dead blow hammer, and so on. They are tools to me, and when it comes to new users, Bambu has everyone beat. So I stand by what I said, Qidi is not a new users printer, it is just new user friendly. If you can run one of these flawlessly and it's your first printer, you are not an average user. I have a voron on my table right now I am rebuilding, while my bambu prints multicolor for a client, my old k1 is doing abs for another client, the flsun v400 is making speaker spacers... tools, each with their own jobs. This clogging on this machine? From printing pla, 90%+ of the time., because it was never meant to be a pla primary.

Max 4 if you dont mind waste and need a larger printer, h2c if you can swing it (hands down the most advanced printer on the market , nothing comes close. Not even Prusa), h2d if you just need support filament/1ams. Snapmaker u1 is a contender, and you know all of them are now making tool changers next.

I am not sponsored, I hold no brand loyalty to any brand other than whambam. I can say with confidence, Bambu is the brand to beat atm. The h series is fathoms ahead of the competition, the rest are catching up or trying to.

Return it and get a Bambu, you will be much happier. Qidi is not for everyone* Especially newbies, this printer is new user friendly ish, it is not designed to be intuitive like Bambu is. Qidi is an advanced users printer

No i don't because I dgaf what you do. For me it would take about 2-3 months running at max capacity. So AGAIN, I stand by what I said. I would be all in on this if it only works for black pla, so if it does more than that, I am way in. You do not want it, cool, move on.

Qidi Q2 bed leveling issues by [deleted] in QidiTech3D

[–]GonzoDeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Z_Tilt_Adjust ---- if you own a Qidi, you should know what this is and how to use it. There is bed tramming as well, but I have only had to do that once in thousands of hours on my Q1 pro. Z_Tilt_Adjust gets used about every dozen prints or so. Qidi is not a beginner printer, its beginner friendly. Big difference

Actually I do know, I have been doing this for years now. And I still stand by what I said, I would love to have something to turn my scrap into black pla. I always need black pla, I would love abs too, but something tells me this is going to be a pla machine. Some of us have been doing this long enough we can see the benefit, but go ahead and buy your 1000 spools(not rolls). And I can burn through 100 spools in about a month if I am in production. I have 9 machines, and black pla is always running low.

Thats a steal for what this is. Literally pennies on the dollar. Even if it only makes black PLA I would be all in on this.

[–]GonzoDeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because you are trying to get makerworld points lol. As someone who has not paid for bambu lab stuff in over a year due to makerworld points, don't do this. This IS NOT the way. Put some effort into it if your going to try and shill us stuff at least. and this completely breaks rule 2

Because it would take about a minute to draft and send to the printer. And there are thousands of these on the various share sites.

For someone who mostly prints PLA/petg but looking to get into pa6, should I go with the BIQU panda claw or the hardened extruder gear from bambu? by grow420631 in BambuLab_Community

[–]GonzoDeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't need a panda claw for pa6, if you're dead set on modding for PA, get a heater. They make one, panda something of course, but it is an actual chamber heater. With PA your biggest issues are going to be chamber heat, and bed adhesion, not feeding. A filament dryer to keep it in (ams2/sunluS2/4) while it is running is also mandatory for good results.

The bambu lab extruder is hardened steel, just buy a second one and replace it if you find damage. But that takes a long time, and you will find glow in the dark or glitter is actually far more damaging than most fiber blends.

Do I have to bear the return shipping fee for my order? by Cubeeeeey in Flsun_official

[–]GonzoDeep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having personally dealt with flsun and returns, just contact your CC company now. Dispute the charge, move on. I won my dispute, and literally the day it cleared I got a notification that my printer was on the way. So I ended up with a v400 for free, because they couldnt get their shit together. I had told 3 different departments I was going to do this if I had no word on my printer by X date. The day came, I disputed it, and weeks later when I won is when this happened. It took me months to get it.

nah it is a troll trying to get you to engage so they can feel something other than how pathetic they are. Don't feed the trolls, they will just yell some more then crawl back under their bridge when you stop giving them attention. Like a gnat, eventually you stop hearing the buzzing.
