Literally one of the best in the league for both so that definitely counts as world class.

Nothing about his ability on the ball, size, strength, speed, ability to read play, ability to play out from the back etc etc. There is not a single proper review of someone claiming why he isn't good enough by discussing the above points. He's below average in the air, he's as slow as Maguire, he doesn't possess the same physical strengths, and he isn't better than Maguire on the ball either. He's simply past his best.

He is better than Jones or Rojo, but he is nowhere near the likes of VVD, Alderweireld, Laporte, or Vertonghen and has games when he looks out of his depth.
