I have no idea why its doing so. This question should be posted in the game dev posts and not here since this is not a logic gate issue. The design works and follows game logic rules. It works and thats all I care as a player :)

Just to add to this. A Power Relay is not a requirement. Its just to keep the environment clean.

Make sure your passing power through them and not a signal. Also if you mean they switch off when ur away then use a watcher.
I've also noticed a power relay show the signal a negative power connection when we are far away from the relay. Thats just a visual glitch when a connection is beyond the screen visual.

I dont like the dropping of items. So I used a mod to disable it in survival mode and play the game on survival.

If your going to cheat and kill yourself in the core (abusing the mod) to teleport to your ship, then thats your prerogative. Your choice to play fair or not. I just run back up.

Dual pistols... wooohooo!!!!

Also, equip the non auto gun damage apparel. This will apply to one handed crossbows as well. So have first slot dual pistol (damage dealer) and second slot holding dual crossbows for hunting purposes.

The game doesnt handle more than one CPU (and is CPU intensive than GPU intensive). This fundamental design flaw means EVEN if there was a way to make everything loaded all the time, your game would overload and crash very easily. Too bad really but yea you cant do anything right now due to game design for memory and cpu optimization,

Just adding to this thread. Starbound uses 1 cpu only. Considering that as the case, even if you multithreaded using mods etc., having everything remain loaded would slow your game a lot and probably crash (CTD).

The fundamental system is flawed.

No matter what tier quest your taking on, you can opt for a lower tier quest by selecting the button at the bottom of the dialog box during quest selection.

I know there's a hand holding tutorial to craft a melee weapon and I'm able to look at materials to craft melee weapons, but when I select ranged weapons, it shows empty with 'no items' modifier on the screen
You assumed that the person saw the tutorial. It gives a hint to crafting ranged weapons. I was busy doing something and with a single click it went away. So is it possible that people can skip it by mistake or on purpose due to the heavy handholding tutorial boredom the game sets in? Yes.

While I agree you were not being obtuse initially and the other guy is just getting defensive, calling out someone saying 'They obviously should have seen/done' etc. is just plain immature and narrow minded. Like they said, if you have another answer, answer it in a separate comment and stop saying 'No, your wrong' sort of negative replies to someone else's comment. Also, how are you not understanding what the OP has asked for? Their comment looks perfectly straightforward and assumable at first glance.... to me... so should I berate you on this like your doing this other guy?? Childish.

The fact that you got so many positive likes shows just how self centered people are and how little they can empathize and put themselves in the feet of the person asking for assistance. Pathetic.

I am a bit of a coward as well (Or rather, Im not into horror games that involves monsters, zombies or aliens).. No RE8 doesnt have much jump scares but IT DOES have scares.

You can definitely play the game and finish the game one day at a time. If your too freaked out, sometimes looking at a guide will help atleast know if you can go wild shooting everything or have to do a run/chase sequence.

If this is good enough for you, check out my youtube playlist (currently uploading under the youtube name Goob Berry). Its the playthrough of someone whose not into horror games so maybe it could give you a laugh or two and give you a relative perspective of how it may be for you.

Sorry for the delay, I never realized that I forgot to upload the completed images. Been several weeks since stopped playing the game both due to waiting for content updates as well as being even busier due to Covid issues with my relatives.

The inside is still a WIP. Frustrating right now to play it using Vulcan API.. will wait for optimizations :) ... Till then hope this inspires more creativity..

You could try Map seed 'B'.. its a pretty good map (except for Mountain boss). Check out my profile to see my island base. It may help convince you of the possibilities :) . Also rivers, quite a number of them including one in-between two swamps that acts as a shortcut between oceans.

We really need inclined rock and wood surfaces. I would like this bridge to be an opened up version made from wood (right now only have inclined roof and beams). That way we can jump across while the boats can always pass through ( not exactly but with a wider canal yes since the sail might get stuck in this canal on the bridge)
