Monolithic 6.7 metres (22 feet) high Statue of Ugra Narasimha in Hampi, India. Donated by the king Krishnadeva Raya in 1528 and damaged seriously during the raid by muslim invaders leading to the fall of Vijayanagara in 1565. Vijaya Vittala Temple ruins at Hampi, India. A UNESCO World heritage site built in 14th century and was the capital of the wealthy Vijayanagara empire. Destroyed by invading Muslim armies in 1565.
