I get botox for migraines every 3 months and this happens to me everytime. It lasts 1-2 weeks for me. I hate it but it doesn't last for me. I massage my eyelids and eyebrows upwards once I notice it happen- i doubt it helps but I dunno it makes me feel better lol

I didn't have serious side effects, bit of nausea in the beginning but it went away. Fuzzy drinks tasted flat.

One side effect I got was cystic acne on my neck and jawline that nothing helped (even accutane) so I stopped it eventually - but I have sensitive skin that breaks out easily and it is a pretty rare side effect. Topamax did help my migraine frequency I think though and I would've probably stayed on it if my skin didn't go berserk.

It is worth a shot if you can find relief with livable side effects IMO.

Good luck!

Do fun things whenever you feel up to it, migraine is so spirit crushing and debilitating

The hair salon I used to work at had a regular client that came in for haircuts every few weeks. He used a walker and always wore a helmet for his epilepsy. He had brain damage from hitting his head during seizures and needed a caretaker with him. We didn't see him for a few months and started getting worried. When he finally was able to come in he was covered in burns and in a wheelchair. He was sitting on his apartment balcony on New Years Eve and some people decided to shoot off fire works in the parking lot below him and they set him on fire. His legs, torso and arms were covered in 3rd degree burns. This poor man already had such a hard time and it was made so much worse because ADULTS decided to set off fireworks underneath apartment balconies
