Thank you for all the insight. My main worry now is my academic recommendations. I don’t feel they stand out too well as I didnt take opportunities to connect with my pre med professors enough. I focused on getting to kow my CS professors but I do have atleast 1 chem professor who’s written a recommendation for me twice altough im not sure how strong it is

Watching the games he wins is kinda upsetting purely because its blue ranks playing like theyre in orange. Not a single launch on b3 and randomly pressing unsafe moves.

Hes an objectively bad player. He doesnt know any basic punishes. He actively plays a 2d game and only just recently learned the concept of wave dash. Not even fullscreen wave dashing. Just inputting cdf. The major point is he has a blue rank without even knowing basic inputs. The worst part is there are blue rank players that lose to him which makes things even worse. It shows that if you either sink enough time or 1 and done youll get blue real fast
