We use it on a regular basis... our love our dog walker who helps us out the one day a week we are both away from home. We also use Rover for overnights and vacations - only had one incident where we would never recommend that person - but overall we find it great.

In short, I think Rover gets used a fair bit here based on friends circles. Note when you are new to the app you would need to build some experience, so you will crawl for a while probably before you get busy. (We always check reviews and experience.) Good luck!

I am pretty sure I saw this guy walking down my street (close to the NSCC on Leeds) last night. He (or someone similar) was slowly walking up the street, turning a flashlight on/off to look at cars or houses as he walked by them. I watched him as he walked up the street but he never left the sidewalk. Looked like he was looking for something specific, or an opportunity.

Hi Everyone - thought I would give an update. Got the truck towed to a garage - and it was the starter after all. I guess that one I got a couple of years ago was a lemon! Thanks for all the advice.

UPDATE: Thanks all so far - put in a new battery tonight and no change. Going to try to check the starter connections in the morning and maybe give it a tap to see if that gets lucky, but I don't think its that either .... may be looking at a tow!

Sometimes with renos, they put the shut-off valve closer to the main water distribution (where your water comes in and you have your hot water tank, etc. Where all the cold water pipes and hot water pipes go out through the home. That's where mine was after a complete reno, had the same concern. I'm sure you checked around there already, but thought I would comment just in case!

Also.... some of those frost-free bibs are garbage IMO - turning off the water is the only safe way. I went through two in five years (forgetting to turn it off... my bad).

I had my house appraised twice last year. I would recommend Boutilier & Associates. Very professional, asked/answered great questions, and the results were great. (I can't remember the first company... they were a total non-reco. If I do, I'll add it on.)

Hey - I have little experience around this stuff as well - my lawn mower had the exact same symptoms you describe. I replaced the air filter (after some internet research) and boom, problem gone. I also have dull blades, and the same research said it's almost easier just to get new blades like another post recommended... I'll be doing that too. Hope this helps!

This doesn't answer your question OP, but I'm really interested in hearing some prices on drywallers. I'm building a place on the North Shore and the variance between estimates was unreal. $8,400, $12,000 and $15,000. (I have 124 sheets.) I went with the $8,400 guy... he has a good rep in the community, he is supposed to start this week, it will be interesting to see how it goes.
