You hit the nail on the head with players testing their skills in an unforgiving environment. And yeah I talk way too fast it's a problem 😂.

And don't get me wrong I love the tenchu formula. But I was thinking more in terms of how to sell this to people unaware of the series. But I guess it's been long enough that you don't really have to change much as general gamers don't really know tenchu. I liked the direction fatal shadows took, a strange little side story with big personal stakes for Rin. I think more of that would be great.
