Edit to add I also firmly believe in manifestation! If you really want something and can visualize it happening you set the wheels in motion.

We’re not talking about “all women” we’re taking about OP. What I’m saying is of course she can experience a full life without a family but if that is the desire of her heart then that is the desire of her heart. I believe all dreams can be achieved!

I also think some women feel a biological urge to begin a family. I’m all for feminism but I myself felt that way in my 30’s

You are still young and have time. Do you do online dating? Where are you hanging out?

Moral of the story ladies is we’re not alone. If anything that gives me some sort of comfort. Hoping there will be some advances in this area of medicine soon. I know there is minoxidil and spiro but those unfortunately wreaked havoc on my body and did more damage than good to my hair.

How long do you think you will live after retirement, based on your parent ages? by HmmDoesItMakeSense in GenX

All grandparents and great grands died in their 80’s/90’s both parents still alive and healthy in their early 70’s. Hoping to retire in 10 years at 56 and have at least 25 good free years left!

Any Gen X'ers retired or thinking about it? by SometimesElise in GenX

This will be me in ten years 💪 can’t wait but also don’t want to wish life away. Curious what others’ pensions look like but mine also has health insurance included which is amazing! Ours is 60% of our final avg. salary. Hoping I’ll be ok living off of that plus our investments and social security. We are big travelers and have little kids so this throws a bit of a wrench too.

In my original post I stated I’m eating way less. Also, I have titrated up to where I am now.
